An oxymoron?
Apparently the organization did exist!
Today when you say Parsee - you think professional doctor, lawyer or the ubiquitous banker - but mafia?
Apparently before the turn of the century they controlled the liquor trade in Bombay city - and organised around the Pillhouse area in today's modern day Mumbai red-light area Falklands Road.
I am fascinated by this concept - and am trying to find out more. Internet research provides very little information!
If anybody has more information of this era - person or persons involved - or news items - please let me know!
